In both cold and hot weather the GU9 played extremely well in taking the championship at the Coerver Super Cup held in Temecula over the weekend of March 7-8. The girls overwhelmed their opponents by outscoring them by a score of 24 to 2. The girls have been practicing hard on their passing game and it was reflective in the outcome of the four games they played. The toughest game that the team faced came against the runner-up Claremont Stars whom they beat 3-0.
Even though the girls lost an hour of sleep due to daylight saving time, they woke up to win their last two Sunday games 10-0 vs. the Mystery and 5-0 vs. Evysc United- G99.
