Due to inclement weather the Academy session schedule for Saturday February 6, has been canceled.

The Chula Vista Rangers are happy to announce the dates for the next Developmental Soccer Academy. The next session will begin on  Friday, February 5th.                 

The Chula Vista Rangers will be conducting their 2010 tryouts for boys and girls ages U12 to U14 in February. Tryouts are scheduled for Wednesday February 3rd and Thursday February 4th at Hilltop High school in Chula Vista.

The Chula Vista Rangers will host an information and registration night on Wedsnesday February 17 at Arroyo Vista Charter school.

We will also be introducing our new uniform for 2010. Players will be able to try on the uniform for sizing and there will also be club gear for purchase.

(CHULA VISTA) January 4, 2010 – The Chula Vista Rangers Soccer Club is pleased to announce the addition of former San Diego Socker and MLS player, and Hall of Famer Rene Ortiz as the new Director of Coaching for the club. Rene will partner with technical director Victor Melendez to oversee player and coach development.

The CV Rangers organized a Winter Soccer Camp from Dec 21st to Dec 24th of 2009.  Over 35 children participated among them 12 attended the goalkeeper camp.  The participants expressed that the camp was very fruitful to them and wished for the continuation in the future.

Two local high school age players (David Garza and Ramon Maldonado) from the Chula Vista Rangers Soccer club recently had a once in a life time experience to practice with a number of high level former Mexican National team players.

Sean Aucion and Oscar Sanchez let their feet do the talking this weekend, each scoring a goal to lift their Chula Vista Rangers BU13 Red team to a 2-0 shutout to Kodiak and the championship title of the Rangers’ first annual Reindeer Invitational over the weekend. 

As Ranger players transition to the high school season, the Rangers would like to wish every player the best during the high school season.

The Presidio League season has concluded.  We congratulate the two Ranger coaches who led their teams to undefeated seasons that culminated in bracket championships. 
 

BU15 Red Coach Eddie Fonbon’s team finished the season with a 10-0-4 record, the boys are first in the BU15 Premier bracket by eight points over No. 2 Lightning.

GU13 Red Coach Polo Aviles’ team finished in first – two points ahead of No. 2 Albion. At 13-0-1, the girls scored 65 goals and allowed only four.
