Congratulations to the Chula Vista Rangers - Soccer Beach Jam Champs!
The CV Rangers Boys U-8 Red had a blast playing their first beach soccer, an exiting fast paced game with no shoes, no offside, and smaller fields in the sand on Fiesta Island. The first game against Lightning was neck and neck for most of the game but Lightning came back in the end winning 10-8.
Ranger’s fun on the beach leads to Championship
The Chula Vista Rangers boys U14 White went undefeated and scored a championship at the first ever Beach Soccer Jam tournament on Sunday, April 26 at Fiest Island.
With great weather and a relaxed atmosphere, the Rangers ended the day with four victories and zero defeats.

Rangers Stars Capitalize in Celtic Cup
Rafa Talavera blasted in the decisive goal off a throw-in from Ivan Flores to give the CV Rangers BU16 Red team a 1-0 finish over ConquistAmerica B93 in the finals of the 2009 Celtic Cup. Talavera tallied four goals to help the Rangers bring home the championship title of the BU16 Second Shamrock Division.
Japanese team visit is success
Thanks to all for coming out on Weds and making this event a big success. The BU13 Red lost the 1st match against Japan 3-0, but came back in the 2nd game and beat that same team from Japan 3-0.

Champions at Celtic Cup
The Boys U14 Premier team took the 2009 March Celtic Cup in San Bernardino, CA this past weekend. The premier team outscored opponents 20-3 over the weekend.
On Saturday they faced the Legends Black and were victorious 4-0. In the afternoon game they beat their opponent Ambush Blue by the same score. On Sunday they faced FCSD Premier and were victories by the same score of 4-0.

C.V. Rangers BU17 Red wins Championship this past weekend at the Arsenal FC Winter College Showcase 2009.
First game was Saturday morning against Foothill Storm; they were victorious by a score of Storm 2-1. Goals were scored by Javier Pena (CVHS) and Hernan Naranjo Buenrostro (MHS). Saturday afternoon, the played against Arsenal FC S and lost 2-1 with the lone score coming from Daniel Cueva (CVHS).
